Second Saturday Divorce Workshop - A Community Outreach Program
Divorce can be confusing, challenging and devastating on every level. Second Saturday was founded in 1989 by the non-profit group Wife.org which is the Women's Institute for Financial Education. This workshop helps individuals gain a greater understanding of their current situation and explore the options available to save time, money and grief if they decide to move forward in the divorce process.
Our workshop, 'Second Saturday' deals with the legal, financial, family and personal issues of divorce in a logical yet compassionate way. With the guidance of trained professionals, you will gain greater understanding of the confusing divorce process and how to navigate the challenges that divorce presents.
The workshop is taught by a family law attorney, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a licensed mediator or family therapist. This workshop will provide you with knowledge and resources that you need to inform, prepare and protect you and your family.
This workshop is held on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the cost to attend is $FREE. If you or someone you know is a woman considering divorce or in the early stages of divorce, you will want to attend this three-hour empowering workshop that is designed to help you take the next step, no matter where you are in the process of untying the knot.
